Join us on the 2008 Lincoln Circuit Ride,
riding the same roads, visiting the County Line Markers located where Abe
crossed each county, and visit the same Courthouses where he practiced law
on the Old 8ith Judicial Circuit. The event will leave Springfield April
26th at 8th and Capitol at 9 AM after a tour of Lincoln's Home.
Presentations will be made along the way by local historians at the markers
and Historic Sites. We will end the day at Lincoln's Holiday Inn Express. We
continue the first half of the route the next day from Postville to the
Marker located on the Piatt/Champaign County Line. The cost is $10 per
person per weekend + costs. We also have a bus accompanying us on the tour
for an additional cost. The second half of the circuit will begin October

Park Lawn’s 11th annual charity motorcycle run is scheduled for Sunday, May 18, 2008. Registration begins at 9:00 am at Papa T’s, 4660 W. 147th St., Midlothian. Entry fee is $15/rider and $10/passenger and includes raffles, bike show, entertainment and run pins. The post run party will be held at CD & ME, 23320 S. LaGrange Road in Frankfort. Food and live entertainment will be provided. Non-run participants are invited to the post run party for food and entertainment for a $10 donation to Park Lawn. Proceeds benefit Park Lawn, a non-profit organization that provides programs and services to individuals with developmental disabilities in the Chicago Metropolitan area.
